The braking system tries to bring the hyperloop pod to a stop in the second half of the run, and you are needed to make that a reality! Apply even if you don't think you have the skills needed, but you're willing to learn!

What you’ll be doing

- Help with design of the braking system using CAD

- Participate in the manufacturing 

- Research braking technology



Who we’re looking for

- Mandatory: experience in CAD and/or simulation software (Solidworks preferred)

- Optional: experience working with powered tools (MC78 machine shop pass preferred) 

- Willing to put in consistent time and effort 

- Able to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely to others

- Detail-oriented, double check work for mistakes
